Resident with pride: Our solar roof sets trends in the area

When Alexander Fos was looking for an apartment, he did not expect that he would choose a place that would become a local architectural attraction. “It was a coincidence,” she laughs, recounting her home in an intimate complex of 18 townhouses surrounded by autumn maple trees. “I was looking for something modern, but it wasn't until I saw this black, sleek eTile Flat roof that I knew - this is it.”

A key insight into the project goes here

When Alexander Fos was looking for an apartment, he did not expect that he would choose a place that would become a local architectural attraction. “It was a coincidence,” she laughs, recounting her intimate apartment building surrounded by autumn maple trees. “I was looking for something modern, but it wasn't until I saw this black, sleek eTile Flat roof that I knew - this is it.”

First Impression

“I remember the moment when I first saw this investment,” Mr. Alexander recalls. “Other buildings in the area have standard roofs, often with glued photovoltaic panels that look like foreign elements. In our house, each place has its share of an elegant black roof that creates a coherent whole. It makes an incredible impression, especially when the light reflects off the surface on a sunny day.”

Pride in innovation

“I did not expect that buying an apartment would bring me so much satisfaction,” he admits. “At first I was attracted to aesthetics, but I quickly discovered that I had become part of something bigger. Our complex sets new standards in the area. I regularly see people stop, take pictures, ask for technical details.”

Mr. Alexander proudly talks about the interest that their estate arouses: “On weekends I often see groups of visitors - architects, developers, potential investors. Everyone is surprised that this is Polish technology. They compare our roofs to traditional photovoltaic installations on neighboring buildings - the difference is striking.”

Inspiration for others

“I recently learned that a developer from a neighboring municipality is planning a similar investment, also using eTile roofs,” he says with satisfaction. “It shows that we were pioneers. Our estate has proven that you can combine ecology with aesthetics without compromising.”

He is particularly pleased with the reaction of the guests: “Everyone who visits us is impressed. Recently, a family arrived from the Netherlands - a country famous for its innovations in solar energy. They were amazed at the level of technological advancement and design. They said that even with them, such solutions are still rare.”

Daily benefits

“Of course, it's not just about looks,” emphasizes Mr. Alexander. “Each of us has our own part of the photovoltaic system, which translates into real savings. But the most important thing is to feel that we live in a unique place that sets trends. When I see other developers in the area interested in similar solutions, I feel like we've been part of a positive change.”

Did you know that... In this complex, each of the 8 units has its own independent part of the eTile Flat solar roof, which allows residents to individually account for the energy produced. This is one of the first such solutions in Poland, where the photovoltaic system has been so precisely integrated into the architecture of a multi-family building.

Finally, Mr. Alexander adds: “When I was buying an apartment here, some were knocking on the head - why overpay for some fancy roof? Today, the same people ask if there are still free premises in the planned housing estate next door. This is perhaps the best example of how much the approach to modern technologies in construction is changing.”
