From the sun to the outlet - how does it work?

Imagine that every ray of sunshine falling on your roof is a tiny bundle of energy. The solar roof system works like an advanced power plant that turns these packages into usable electric current. When the sun's rays fall on special photovoltaic cells integrated into the tile, a photovoltaic phenomenon occurs - light is converted into electricity.

Roofing on inactive slabs

On parts of the roof where we do not need to generate energy (for example, from the north side) or in places that require cutting, we apply visually identical coverage without photovoltaic cells. It can be standard sheet metal tiles or sheet metal for the seam - exactly the same as those that form the basis for active modules. This makes the entire roof look consistent and elegant, no matter which part of it produces energy.

Roofing accessories

The system is complemented by professional roofing accessories: sheet metal treatments around chimneys, a complete gutter system, dedicated roof windows with appropriate aprons and gutters. All these elements are selected to perfectly harmonize with the solar tiles. We pay special attention to the tightness and durability of the entire system - each element is tested for resistance to extreme weather conditions.

Inverter (inverter)

The energy produced by solar roof tiles is in the form of direct current. The inverter converts this current into alternating, exactly the one that flows in our sockets. This is a key element of the system that ensures the safe and efficient transfer of energy to the home electrical installation. Modern inverters are equipped with communication modules that allow constant monitoring of energy production via the Internet.

Optimization system

Under the roof, in places with service access, we install power optimizers. These smart devices make sure that each panel works at the maximum possible efficiency, even if part of the roof is in the shade. Then standard inverters turn off, ceasing to produce energy - you can lose up to 20-30% of annual output!

Smart Switch solves this problem by intelligently managing the voltage between phases. This allows your installation to continue producing energy even when other systems in the area stop working.
