A. Rules for safe work on the roof

Before you get on the roof, you must have full height protection. A safety rope system and fitter braces are essential. Remember that it is impossible to walk on the mounted eTile panels - the glass surface is slippery and sensitive to damage. That is why it is so important to plan communications after the roof already at the design stage.

To move eTile panels, you need one or two people, depending on the size of the module. Always move them in a horizontal position, holding by the edges. Use protective gloves - the edges of the sheet can be sharp.

During electrical work, be sure to turn off the voltage. Perform all connections using professional tools. Do not work in wet weather or in strong winds.

B. Quality control at every stage

Before starting the assembly, check the condition of all the materials provided. Pay attention to:

· No mechanical damage to panels and sheet metal

· The completeness of the mounting system

· Condition of electrical wires and fittings

· Compliance of delivery with documentation

During installation, check the spacing of the battens (it should be exactly 240mm) and the correct routing of the cable trays. Each electrical connection must be made by a licensed electrician using dedicated MC4 fittings.

C. Training and certification

The installation of the eTILE system requires training and certification by the manufacturer. At the training you will learn:

· Detailed assembly procedures

· Support of specialized tools

· Solving common problems

· Electrotile Quality Standards

You will receive the certificate after passing the practical exam. Only certified crews can install the eTILE system.

D. Technical equipment

For installation, you will need basic roofing tools and:

· Torque adjustable drilling and screwdrivers

· Shears for sheet metal (not allowed to use angle grinder)

· Electric meter

· Crimping machines for MC4 fittings

· Ladders and scaffolding with safety certificate
