Let's start with certification - all components of the eFence system have passed rigorous testing in independent laboratories. Our fence is certified to comply with European safety standards, including the key IEC 61730 standard for the safety of photovoltaic modules. However, this is only the beginning.
The electrical safety system in eFence has been designed with maximum user safety in mind. Each PV module is equipped with an individual power optimizer with SafeDC™ function. If the power is disconnected or an abnormality is detected, the system automatically reduces the voltage to a safe level - below 30V DC. This is especially important during maintenance work or in emergency situations.
The entire electrical installation is carried out inside the aluminum profiles, which eliminates the risk of accidental contact with the wires. All connections are made using MC4 certified connectors that provide water resistance and weather resistance. The system is also equipped with surge protectors, protecting against the effects of lightning.
The current security of the installation is ensured by an advanced monitoring system that controls the operating parameters of each module 24/7. If any abnormalities are detected - be it a sudden drop in power or unusual voltage values - the system immediately sends a notification to the service center.
