Process of preparation for implementation

Building a solar fence is a process that requires careful planning and thoughtful organization. In this section, you will learn how the journey goes from the first contact with Electrotile to the start of the proper installation work.

It all starts with a no-obligation consultation with our expert. This is a crucial moment that allows you to accurately understand your needs and technical capabilities. “I remember a customer who initially wanted to install active modules all over the fence,” says Marek, one of our technical advisors. “During the visit, we found that part of the plot is heavily shaded by tall trees. So we proposed a hybrid solution - active modules on the south side and elegant panels inactive in the shaded area.”

During the consultation, we analyze not only technical aspects, but also your aesthetic and functional preferences. We check local architectural requirements, assess the terrain and ground conditions. This is also the moment when we can offer additional solutions, such as integrated LED lighting or a gate automation system.

The next step is the preparation of detailed design documentation. Our designers, using the data collected during the audit, develop a comprehensive design that takes into account all aspects of the installation. “This is not an ordinary fence,” explains Anna, head of the design department. “We need to precisely plan not only the placement of the spans and posts, but also the wiring route, the location of the inverter and how it will be integrated into the electrical network of the building.”

In parallel, we deal with formal issues. We assist in obtaining the necessary permits and preparing the documentation required by the local authorities. In most cases, the installation of a solar fence does not require special permits, but we always make sure that everything is in accordance with current regulations.

The final element of the preparatory phase is the development of a detailed work schedule and a logistics plan. We set a convenient date for assembly, plan the delivery of components and organize facilities for the assembly team. “Nothing can be left to chance,” emphasizes Piotr, project coordinator. “Every element of the eFence system must arrive at the right time and the construction site must be properly prepared.”

At this stage, you also receive complete information about the planned course of work and possible requirements on your part. This may be, for example, the need to provide access to an electrical connection or to prepare a place to store materials. Thanks to careful planning, proper installation runs smoothly and without unnecessary downtime.

Step-by-step assembly process

Starting the right assembly work is always an exciting moment. What is the process like with the eFence system? Let's go through the next steps that will turn your vision into reality.

It all starts with the precise delineation of the fence line. “This is the foundation of the whole project,” explains Tomasz, an experienced assembly manager. “Even a small mistake at this stage can later hinder the installation of the spans or affect the aesthetics of the whole. Therefore, we always use professional geodetic equipment to determine the foundation points.”

After the line is drawn, we proceed to earthworks. The eFence system requires a solid foundation - not only because of the weight of the structure, but above all to ensure long-term stability. The depth and width of the excavation is precisely specified in the project and depends on the local soil conditions and the height of the planned fence.

When the foundations are ready, the installation of the supporting structure begins. “This is the moment when the eFence system shows its advantage,” says Tomasz. “Our 100x100mm poles are not only robust, but also have a well-thought-out wiring routing system. All wires are hidden inside the structure, which eliminates the risk of damage and provides an aesthetic appearance.”

The next stage is the installation of spans with photovoltaic modules. Each element is pre-fabricated at the factory, which significantly simplifies assembly. “This is not puzzle assembly,” laughs Adam, an installer with years of experience. “All components fit together perfectly, and the mounting system is so well thought out that it virtually eliminates the possibility of making a mistake.”

In parallel with the mechanical assembly, we carry out electrical work. Specialists are engaged in connecting photovoltaic modules, installing an inverter and configuring an energy management system. If your fence is equipped with LED lighting or gate automation, these elements are also installed and configured at this stage.

It is worth emphasizing that the entire assembly process is carefully monitored and documented. Each stage of work undergoes detailed quality control, and all electrical connections are tested for safety and performance. “This is not an ordinary fence, it is an advanced energy system,” recalls Tomasz. “That's why we pay so much attention to the quality of workmanship.”

Reception and commissioning of the system

The final stage of the eFence project is much more than the formal handover of the fence. This is the moment when the system starts working and you learn to use its full potential. See how this process looks in practice.

Before we officially launch the system, we conduct comprehensive testing of all components. “It's a bit like starting a new car,” explains Piotr, chief quality engineer. “We check every element of the system: from the mechanical stability of the structure, through the operation of photovoltaic modules, to the operation of automation and lighting. We want to make sure everything works perfectly.”

During the tests, we make a number of electrical measurements. We check the performance of each photovoltaic module, control the quality of the connections and verify the operation of the security system. Particular attention is paid to safety-related elements - all electrical connections are additionally verified using specialized measuring equipment.

After the successful completion of the tests, it is time to train the user. “This is a crucial moment,” emphasizes Anna from the customer support department. “We show how to use lighting control applications, how to interpret energy production data, how to react in different situations. We want our customers to feel confident in using the system.”

Finally, we provide a complete set of post-production documentation. This is not just a formal requirement, but a practical tool for the future. In the documentation you will find a detailed description of the system, user manuals, service contact details and warranty conditions. “This is such a service book for your fence,” explains Peter. “It is useful not only for periodic inspections, but also for possible expansion of the system in the future.”

But this is not the end of our cooperation. Every eFence customer gets access to professional technical support. Our specialists are available by phone and online, ready to help in any situation. What's more, with a remote monitoring system, we can detect and resolve potential problems early, often before you notice them yourself.

“The best reward for us is customer satisfaction,” Anna concludes. “When we see their initial enthusiasm turn into the daily satisfaction of using the eFence system, we know we have done a good job.”
