Electrotile Solar Architect Certification Program
Why become a Certified Solar Architect?
We are on the verge of a real revolution in building design. From 2029, according to the RepowerEU program, all new residential buildings will have to be equipped with photovoltaic systems. This change presents new challenges for architects, but also opens up fascinating possibilities for creating the architecture of the future.
As a Certified Solar Architect, you not only receive the knowledge and tools to design using BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaics) systems, but also enter an elite group of professionals prepared for the upcoming changes in the industry.
What do you gain by joining the program?
The certification program is much more than just training. This is a comprehensive support package for your studio, including:
Project Support
You will have access to a library of technical solutions, CAD/BIM files and consultations with Electrotile experts at every stage of the design. The technical team will help you with energy calculations and the selection of optimal solutions for your projects.
Business Support
You join a network of certified architects, which means priority service and a dedicated technology supervisor. As a certified architect, you will be able to offer your clients innovative solar solutions that will distinguish your projects from the competition, and for which you will receive attractive benefits from us. In addition, you can participate in prestigious demonstration projects that will enrich your portfolio with projects using the most modern BIPV technologies.
Marketing Support
You get a package of promotional materials, the opportunity to organize presentations in the Electrotile showroom and joint PR activities. This is a great opportunity to build your position as an expert in sustainable architecture.
What is the certification process like?
The certification is designed to be practical and effective. It consists of three main stages:
Stage 1: Qualification
We start with an individual consultation, during which we get to know your studio and determine the best development path. This is also a time to discuss all questions and doubts.
Stage 2: Training
The training program includes four 4-hour modules:
- Solar Roofing Technology
- Solar Shutter Systems
- eBlade Slat Systems
- Fences and solar canopies
The training ends with a conceptual project using the learned solutions. Importantly, selected projects can receive support in implementation as demonstration projects.
Stage 3: Development
Certification is the beginning of cooperation. As part of the program, you receive regular refresher training, access to new products and the opportunity to network with other certified architects.
How to start?
The process of joining the program is simple. Just contact the Electrotile team to schedule your first consultation. During the meeting, we will discuss the details of the program and determine the best training schedule for your team.
Remember that the number of places in the program is limited - this gives a guarantee of an individual approach and high-quality support for each participant.
Before joining the program, make sure that:
1. Your studio implements residential or commercial building projects
2. You have experience in designing energy-efficient buildings
3. You are ready to devote 16 hours to basic training
4. You have a team that can implement new solutions
5. You want to develop your practice towards sustainable construction
What to prepare for the first consultation:
1. Portfolio of the last 2 years
2. Information about the size and specialization of the studio
3. List of questions about the program
4. Examples of projects where you would like to use solar solutions
5. Expectations for the certification program

Did you know that...
- The roof of the average single-family home rains as much solar energy as an average household consumes in a year? This is why solar architects can design buildings that are energy self-sufficient.
- In the Nordic countries, more than 60% of new architectural projects already include integrated photovoltaic systems? This is the result of many years of education of architects in the field of solar technology.
- Modern solar systems can generate energy even from the northern facades of buildings? This gives architects much more freedom in designing energy-efficient buildings.
